Horticultural Society
A Horticultural Society was in existence before the Second World War but was
disbanded at that time. In 1957, a number of people in the Village
re-established the Ferring Horticultural Society and the first general
meeting was held on 5th December 1957. The Society holds three shows a year,
Spring, Summer an Autumn, which are well supported by members exhibiting the
many varieties of plants and shrubs which grow so well in Ferring.
The Society holds meetings on the first Thursday of each month
(except April and August), with knowledgeable speakers. |
