Ferring Open Gardens

Sunday 13th July 12 – 5 pm
Many, many gardens open throughout South Ferring.
Open top bus stopping for cream teas, BBQ, children's games, stalls etc.
Fabulous day out !  £3.00 a ticket for a family of 4.

On Sunday 13th July, 2008 from 12 noon until about 5.00 pm, Ferring Friends of St. Barnabas are holding their popular Open Gardens event. Not only beautiful gardens to see, but plenty of interest for all the family. During the last three years we have raised over £20,000 and as the Hospice now confirms its rebuild plans for the new hospice to be sited in Titnore Lane, we are really keen to make this event a huge fundraiser for them.

The feedback from last years event was tremendous, and with added attractions this year’s event will be even more fun and is definitely one for the diary. A list of all the gardens and attractions can be found in the entry Passport, together with a map of the event.

With well over 30 gardens involved, this is a family event with lots to do and see. Refreshments are available in many of the gardens including Ploughman’s lunches, barbecue, cream teas etc. There is live music to entertain you and children are well catered for with various games, quizzes, treasure island, lucky dip, face painting, pottery painting, skittles ... and more (location and times in entry Passport), And of course, ice creams.

Stalls selling a large variety of items will be found along the route including cake stalls, jewellery, books, plants, home made cards, bric-a-brac, puzzles, stationery, and our course our big raffle with super prizes. There will also be the opportunity to join the St Barnabas Lottery. Donations of cakes, raffle prizes or items for our stalls would be very much appreciated.

Entry is by Family Passport at a cost of £3 for a family of 4 – terrific value for so much to do and see. The Passport will be available from the St Barnabas shop in Ferring, some local shops, and from gardens on the day.

For further information Tel: 01903-503980.

North Ferring Open Gardens for Chestnut Tree House on the 1st June 12-4 p.m.
Teas will be served while you wander through the gardens.

Please come along and support us !
