Ferring's Millennium Tapestry Project
was undertaken to celebrate the new Millennium by creating an artistic
representation of the village as a piece of history
for future generations.
The tapestry is made up of tapestry squares
designed and worked by Ferring residents to depict:
the clubs, societies and associations of Ferring,
residents' and their homes as at the turn of the century;
some artistic representations of landmarks in Ferring and
other miscellany.
