| Always keen to encourage local talent, we
highlight this week the work of artist Ian Burgess who lives in the village.
A man of many talents, we show here two samples of trompe d'oeil
painting which look as if they stand out from the wall. |

Ian's work has been exhibited at local craft events,
but, unfortunately for us, is not promoted widely due to pressure of other
things.
