Parent / Carer Information
Welcome
to Ferring Junior Youth Club. This letter is to give you some more
information about the club.
Ferring
Junior Youth Club has been set up by West Sussex County Council’s Youth
Service and will run from 6pm- 7.30pm every Tuesday at Ferring Rifers
for all children and young people aged between the ages of 8 and 13.
The club will run term time only as well as a few summer sessions as
listed in the term dates below. The first session attended is free, then
attendance is £1 per session. This fee will go towards paying for
activities later on in the term which the children will be allowed to
select.
Ferring
Junior Youth Club has been set up as a safe and secure environment for
children and young people to have fun, make new friends, take part in
activities and learn new skills. We will be running accredited
programmes once and bringing in outside experts to run sessions such as
graffiti art and circus skills. Activities will include art, drama,
music, sport and many others. Food, snacks and drinks will be available
to buy for a small charge.
Staff
All staff
are fully CRB checked and a first aider is always in the staff team for
the session. All activities are supervised by staff. Please speak to us
if you have any questions.
Membership
Please
fill in a membership form and let us know if you allow you child to walk
home without a parent or guardian or whether you will pick them up. If
you are picking up your child please be on time as other sessions run in
the youth club after ours.
